Imprezait prior to their buyout were the leading IT support company in Kent. They dominated the search results consistently for IT related terms in the area. Though this wasn’t always the case, they started their SEO link building journey with Millenio in Oct 2023 for the second time at an all time ranking low for their key commercial page.
We provided link building services in the form of 3-4 high authority links per month, utilising a tried and tested strategy. We focused on quality, relevance and a varied anchor text approach.
Secondly we researched, wrote and published 2 blogs a month onto Imprezait’s website to show Google we’re actively improving the site. Whilst also increasing their topical authority by covering search terms people are looking for.
We monitored the strategy each month to see if we needed to make any adjustments to make the budget as effective as possible.
The first time we worked with Imprezait was back in 2022 from January to June. They initially started with their full marketing budget at £1k per month and within just 3 months they had secured a healthy position 3 for their key commercial terms from the lows of 20 (1 competitor and maps above). The problem? This left Imprezait without budget to focus on other marketing efforts like social and email. They stopped working with us for a while and maintained their position at the top of the search results for the following year.
However, in the 3 months leading up to October 2023 results slowly fell off from a lack of site improvements and link building. Recognising the importance of contuined link building for their lead generation and company growth they re-engaged Millenio with a catch. Can we do the same with a smaller budget of £650? We love a challenge coupled with the knowledge that the previous spend was not in vain. It give them a healthy base of authority to restart and a comfortable position on page two to restart from. We proposed a new startegy where we allocated just £80 of the budget to writing two blogs a month and publishing them on their behalf on imprezait.co.uk. We believed that with some active site additions alongside our links, we could accommodate the lower budget and achieve the results they were looking for. All whilst giving them some leftover budget to focus on their other marketing efforts. The results:
Within 3 months Imprezait.co.uk hit 2 for ‘IT support Kent’ a new high from the previous peak of position 3, second to only Google maps listings. This boosted new business dramatically and had a huge ROI that PPC and social couldn’t deliver.
